About Bene Decor

Our story, craftsmen team, Jaipur workshop floor, and approach to solid wood furniture.

OUR STORY & FOUNDING VISION

“Furniture Should Be Inherited, Not Discarded.”

Bene Decor was started by Vaibhav Khandelwal with a simple goal: to make durable solid wood furniture for Indian homes. After seeing how quickly modern pressboard furniture breaks down, he chose to focus entirely on natural timber and practical joinery.

We use seasoned Teak and Sheesham wood to construct dining sets, beds, sofas, and storage units that hold up against daily wear. Our aim is to build solid pieces that stay sturdy and comfortable in your home for years.

“Our objective is simple — produce honest furniture with true structural integrity that stays in homes for generations.”

THE ART OF CRAFTSMANSHIP

Master Craftsman — The Hands Behind Every Piece

Furniture making begins with people who have spent years working with wood and understand the material through daily experience. A craftsman knows how to judge a piece of timber, read its grain, shape it carefully, and smooth every edge so that the finished piece feels balanced and sturdy before it leaves our workshop.

From rough cutting and shaping to hand sanding, joining wooden parts, applying polish, and checking small structural details by hand, the work requires patience and practical skill. Every joint is fitted with care to ensure the furniture stands firm for everyday family use.

OUR WORKSHOP TEAM

Meet the Craftsmen Behind Bene Decor

Making a solid wood table or bed is never the work of just one person. Inside our Jaipur workshop, different people take responsibility for different stages—preparing the timber, cutting parts to size, assembling frames, hand sanding, and applying the final polish.

Many of our team members learned their craft through years of practical work alongside senior carpenters. This shared experience and everyday coordination across stations help us maintain consistent quality across every piece we build.

WHERE THE WORK BEGINS

Inside Our Workshop

When you step inside our workshop, you immediately see wooden frames and furniture parts arranged across different work areas. Dust fills the air near the sanding benches, wood chips gather around the cutting stations, and the hum of saws and hammers creates the steady rhythm of a busy working floor.

At one end, craftsmen measure and cut raw timber logs into clean planks. In the middle area, woodworkers fit mortise and tenon joints together, assembling chairs, dining tables, and storage cabinets piece by piece.

Unfinished wooden frames wait in neat rows for their turn at hand sanding and polish booths. It is an active, working environment where raw wood is steadily worked on until it becomes finished furniture ready for homes.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

From Timber to Timeless Furniture

A piece of furniture takes shape through a simple, step-by-step process: raw wood selection → cutting planks → shaping edges → joining parts → hand sanding → applying polish → final inspection.

Certain steps take time because craftsmen need to check how well joints fit together and ensure surfaces are smooth before moving to the next stage. Taking care at each step ensures the final piece is sturdy and ready for long-term daily use.

OUR WAY OF WORKING

Made Slowly, Made Properly

Our approach to furniture is straightforward: we focus on making pieces that are strong, practical, and well finished rather than rushing through production. By sticking to honest solid wood and proper joinery, we build furniture designed to serve your home comfortably for many years.
